A new perspective on our planet
The Digital Twin of Earth's Interior
We're building a 3D atlas of Earth's interior, revealing the hidden structures and dynamics that matter for renewable energy, geohazard prediction and a changing climate.
01 / Our mission
Most of Earth's interior remains beyond direct observation. SUBNOVA aims to transform multi-physics measurements all around the planet into a probabilistic 3D atlas of the full subsurface.
Reconstruct hidden geology, temperatures and structures.
Connect observations to the physical processes below.
Assess possible outcomes and their uncertainties.
02 / Where it matters
When the invisible becomes interpretable, entirely new decisions become possible. From clean energy exploration to a safer, more resilient future.
APPLICATION / 01
Support more sustainable discovery of geothermal reservoirs and natural hydrogen potential, with a deeper understanding of subsurface conditions before committing to expensive exploration.
APPLICATION / 02
Reconstruct hidden faults and evolving underground conditions to inform assessments of seismic, volcanic and ground-instability risks to help communities, insurers and infrastructure planners prepare.
APPLICATION / 03
Investigate how heat, water and geological processes interact with Earth's larger systems. Our long-term vision is to make complex, hard-to-measure dynamics easier to explore and understand.
03 / The technology
We bring together geophysical observations, the laws of physics and advanced AI. Instead of making a single guess about what lies underground, our approach is designed to reconstruct multiple physically plausible 3D scenarios, and show where uncertainty remains.
Seismic, gravity, thermal and other measurements provide clues about the unseen Earth.
AI trained with physical simulations helps piece those clues into coherent 3D models.
Instead of false certainty, insights come with a clearer picture of what we know, and what we don't.
Built for a complex planet. Our research focuses on physics-informed machine learning, scalable reconstruction and uncertainty-aware inference. SUBNOVA is a technology vision in development.
